Founded in 2003 by partners Donald Johnson, Laura Watkins and David Whiteside, Phantom 5 Music Group is a diverse music production company offering a wide variety of creative products and services. Originally founded as a creative production team, Phantom 5 expanded into the sample sound industry in 2004 by launching the highly successful website www.P5audio.com. With thousands of customers around the globe, P5audio.com has emerged as one of the leaders in producing high quality sample sound and loop libraries. The customers of P5audio.com range from amateur musicians to some of the most successful music producers in the industry. Several major hits have included P5audio.com products including Ja Rule, Outkast and G-Unit. In 2006, Phantom 5 Music launched www.MixingAndMastering.com, an innovative website dedicated to professional mixing, mastering and recording services. MixingandMastering.com gives customers everywhere access to the world-class mixing and mastering studios and engineers of Los Angeles, CA. Customers are able to choose from a wide variety of mixing options suitable for any and all budgets. Our FTP server allows for instant file transfer enabling us to deliver rush order projects within 24 hours. Our team of engineers have mixed for some of the largest names in music including Mariah Carey, Nate Dogg, Tupac and George Clinton. Since 2003, Phantom 5 has been providing custom music services to a wide and diverse range of clientel. We work as a production team and our diverse musical backgrounds allow us to produce music in a wide range of styles. We have composed and licensed music for several major networks including HBO, MTV, BET, Lifetime and more. In addition our music has been used in national commercial ads by Starburst and Net 10 Wireless. In 2004, members of our production team created original music and custom imaging for the Destiny’s Child album release radio special, which was aired nationwide by Premiere Radio Networks. Our additional radio credits include producing original music and imaging for Carson Daly Most Requested, a nationally syndicated music radio program. Our extensive catalogue of musical works include: original songs, film scores, custom Hip Hop/ RnB beats and more. Our passion is to collaborate with other talented artists no matter what stage of their career they are at. We have produced high quality demos for virtual unkown artists, to writing songs for multi-platinum selling mega RnB group Jodeci. Our award winning film scores include The Buse, Sitting on Fire, and the upcoming televisions series The Signal.
